I had a dream last week that was profound, and when I awoke, I saw information quite clearly that helped me understand things
in my life. I want to share part of what I typed as soon as I woke up (modified somewhat for clarity):
"Don't try to look at things individually, look at it as a whole (ie: paiting and artistic expression do this - a picture is worth a thousand words).
In that "wholeness", all the answers are there... when you try to remember details, or single out this or that, you lose focus of the
"all", and of the full meaning, so you lose the deeper truth. Go deep, see big, be that artist. Wow. The more you meditate, the more you see, the
greater your vision, that is how you will go deeper and see your life with greater clarity. It's like those stereovision 3d pictures (those of you who are
familiar with them) - if you try to look at the 3D images, that is, focus on the picture, you won't see it. But if you look past the surface, and let you
eyes go "out of focus", suddenly, a 3D images pops out at you. The idea is not to focus - meditation is a way of going "out of focus",
which we think would make us see less, but ultimately, we see more.
The song "I will remember you" came to mind as I awoke, it felt meaningful - "I will remember you,
will you remember me... a power that doesn't let me choose", don't let others control you, tell you what to do, what to believe, what to say...
you choose. Just remember that LOVE guides you to the best choices. Don't let confusion dictate your choices... if you're confused, make a choice, your
choice, but meditate on LOVE to find the better (or best) choice, the choice that will FEEL RIGHT IN EVERY WAY (ie: that doesn't make you do things you
don't want to do... or do things that you do want to do, but that should avoid). Don't let other people's set-of-beliefs misguide you (often
unintentionally, and if intentional, remember we all make mistakes when fear takes hold)... don't let their fears become a guide to you. Guide yourself
from within... from within your center, or your heart. Spirit is there, the masters are there, the angels are there... God is there, within. Don't forget
those around you... but when you aren't sure what to do, all the answers you need are right here, now."
For those interested in 3D stereograms, here's one as an example and a web site that has more:
http://www.eyetricks.com/3dstereo.htm
Don't "look" at the picture - look past it. Go out of focus. When you start the image, say, a brief "something" that seemed 3D (it's inset, within the picture), don't try to focus, or you'll lose it. You need to stay out of focus, and let your eyes get used to this new way of seeing to retain the image. When you get used to it, you will start to see them with ease. When I say out of focus, I don't mean "blurry", I mean still clear vision, but looking past the image... pretend you're trying to look at something past the screen, about 10 feet away. And be patient... it may take time. Sounds alot like meditation, doesn't it? lol ;o)
You can print it out instead if you find the screen hard on your eyes (it will work regardless, even if on a black and white printout).
I hope this helps you as it has helped me.
Love to all of you.
